We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Paddington station and the Heathrow Express. We had a good-sized room and bed with two chairs and desk space. Apart from easy access (directly, via a back door) to and from the train station there are plenty of food options and supermarkets in and near the station, so we didn't need to eat in the hotel. It's good that a Victorian-era railway hotel is still being used and some of its period features have been retained. It was also good to be able to leave our luggage with the concierge for the remainder of our checkout day for no additional charge.

The location is very convenient, that was my first preference, the room was comfortable eventhough the rug/carpet has damage but it did not bother me only that I have to report it at the reception. The Hotel might charged me for the damage if I did not report it early, that was inconvenient to let them know. The reception did not know but the housekeeping was aware of it. Thank God. Breakfast was acceptable stayed for 3 days I have noticed in a row the same was served. I Love the coziness of the hotel. It has direct access to Paddington station which I love thru back door or sidedoor.

I chose the Hilton Hotel in Paddington primarily for its location, right in Paddington Station, which made travelling around the UK incredibly easy during my stay.
